Celebrities wearing BEARPAW boots has become so common that some have taken the next step, designing their own. For Dancing with the Stars’ Karina Smirnoff, any shoe that will help soothe her tense and weary feet after a long dance-filled day, is golden. Her new Alyeska boot for BEARPAW mirrors the characteristics of leg warmers that dancers typically wear over their professional dance shoes.

Has the time come for Snooki, Jersey Shore’s poof-rocking, part-time party girl and full-time tanning connoisseur, to design a pair of her own? She’s been rocking BEARPAW for two seasons now, with the Sonjo Fur Trimmed Suede and Boetis boots currently on display in Italy. Back home, she’s known to show off her Tama boots in black and two pairs of Kola boots, in black and white.

I can imagine the “Snooki” boot being a platform-style deal. Since Snooki is a shorter woman, she probably wears heels more often than a taller woman would. The boot would definitely have some sort of unique feature. Obviously it would have to be something no one has done before and it would have to be a little bit outrageous! Snooki likes wearing revealing clothing, so it’s a safe guess that the boot would be sexy. At the same time, she enjoys bopping around the Shore house in her little astronaut-boot-looking slippers, so I’m assuming she’d want them to be comfortable as well!

I’m thinking a tall platform, but with a rubber sole to maintain comfort — a shoelace tying the back of the boot with buttons at the top would also be cute. I want to say that she’d keep the fur — clearly, she is a fan if she has the same Boetis style in two different colors; but this should be done only sparingly, so that the buttons and lace to tie the back of the boot are still visible.

Also, the top of the boot might stop right below the knee, making it a good boot to wear with short-shorts or mini skirts and dresses.

It always starts, however, with the celeb being a fan of the brand. And it’s no mystery why Snooki fell for BEARPAW — it’s an outdoorsy version of her signature slippers, of course. A deeper connection may exist as well – like Snooki, these boots are fun, have flair, and support the notion that you should just be yourself. Live life comfortably! Sure, most ladies will typically wear clothing or shoes that are itchy, tight, rough, too high and sometimes painful just to achieve a certain look — sexy, cute, flirty, fun, the list goes on. But to any woman, the greatest pieces are the ones that look good and are comfortable.

And while JWoww may have been influenced by her Jersey Shore BFF, she does love her comfy sweats so it’s not hard to imagine her falling totally in love with Snooks’ boot collection, much for the same reason (she owns a pair of the comfortable Boetis boot in the same chestnut color as Snooks – hooray for matching cast members!).

Apparently we’re not the only blog to notice Snooki’s affinity for her furry BEARPAW boots. The fan site All Jersey Shore has a poll up asking readers “Snooki’s Hairy Boots: Would You Wear ‘Em?” Of course you would! Head over to the site and show your support!

Maybe Snooki will design her own pair, maybe she’ll be content to remain a champion of the brand. We can only speculate for now. But I’m sure of this much – both the brand and the woman will continue to surprise us!
