This statement of rules (“Rules”) will apply to the contest. The Rules will be the final authority on all questions relating to the contest.

2. Contest Period of Validity: December 1, 2012 – December 23, 2012
Entries must be received by Sponsor in the manner described below. Entries will be considered and judged each Monday through Thursday. Winners are announced every Friday between 12:00 pm PST and 5:00 pm PST. Entries not received within such time will not be considered.

3. Eligibility:
(a) Subject to part (b), the Contest is open only to individuals who are (i) legal residents of one of the 50 United States or District of Colombia, (ii) 13 years of age or older on the date of entry, as shown on a valid driver’s license or other means of identification issued by a federal or state government agency or by a school or other educational institution, and containing the entrant’s address and picture (b) The following individuals are not eligible to participate in the Contest: (i) past and present employees of BEARPAW (ii) past and present employees and previously published authors of any of Sponsor Entities’ parent, subsidiary or affiliate companies, and (iii) members of the immediate family and/or individuals living in the same household as an individual described in 3(b)(i) or (ii). (c) Incomplete entries and entries with information reasonably determined by Sponsor (in its sole discretion) to contain false information, will not be valid. Each entrant is responsible for providing accurate information as to his/her residential mailing address and how he/she may be contacted via email.

1. Description of the Prizes:
Two families will be announced and contacted by the Sponsor as the winner each week. There will be a total of 8 winning families during the contest period. Gift packages which includes 2 pairs of BEARPAW footwear for each member of the family.

Winning families will also be spotlighted on www.bearpawstyle.com and BEARPAW Facebook.

5. How to Enter:
Nominate a deserving family that has fallen on hard times, but continue to uplift those around them by going to www.bearpawstyle.com to submit a nomination form. Complete the form, providing BEARPAW some basic information including who you’re nominating and why, and click to submit it to BEARPAW. Submissions must portray the nominations in a positive light and not contain offensive or obscene material or language, as determined in the sole discretion of BEARPAW. BEARPAW reserves the right to request evidence of participants and further reserves the right to disqualify any submission it deems infringing or inappropriate in any form.

Judging:
All eligible Nominations will be judged according to the following criteria and subject to the terms and conditions in these Official Rules.

Round 1:
3-4 contestants will be chosen weekly by BEARPAW.

Round 2: At the end of the contest 8 final winners will be chosen based on their story, their need, and their positive impact on their community.

Consent:
By entering the Contest, participants give BEARPAW permission to be contacted by telephone, Facebook, Twitter e-mail and/or postal mail. Participants also give BEARPAW permission to use their entry, city of residence, likeness, name, story, and related information for any purpose without additional request.
