    The Surrogate, Beasts of the Southern Wild, and Sleepwalk with Me are just a few of the films that won awards and generated buzz, as BEARPAWstyle spent the week chilling in snowy Park City, Utah (“chilling,” get it? HA!) at the 2012 Sundance Film Festival.

    Our team was keeping VIPs warm in BEARPAWs at the Fender Music Lodge: we’ve always had our share of celebrity BEARPAW fans, and I dare say we picked up a few more this week!     Glee Cast and 49ers’ Vernon Davis Already Loving BEARPAW Mens Collection

    The new BEARPAW Men’s Collection is officially out, featuring four brand new styles for men alongside the two classics already offered, the Stowe and Dream boots.

    This new collection has been a long time coming for BEARPAW, who has enjoyed great success in the women and children’s footwear market, and has had fans clamoring for a wider selection of styles for men. The Fall 2011 line retails for $110-$140, and features tumble leathers and oil-pressed suedes that set the collection apart from the women’s or children’s lines with more masculine textures.     ExtraTV, Mario Lopez, Miss Simon at Friends Giveaway Shoot

    110927_de_0427_finalWhen Extra TV brought their cameras to the Jami Lynn boutique in Beverly Hills to tape a segment for its January 6, 2012 Friends Giveaway broadcast, anticipation was in the air. There was excitement over the fact that star Mario Lopez had specifically requested the show conduct an interview with BEARPAW, focusing on the celeb appeal that currently surrounds the brand. From Snooki and Jwoww of Jersey Shore fame to Katie Holmes, famous folks across the globe can be seen in BEARPAW boots and shoes, so it’s only natural that a hot, celeb-centric show like NBC’s Extra would want to cover the brand.

    T Coles Sings As We Look Back at 2011

    Karina Smirnoff’s Capulet Boot: A New Style for the New Year

    Tis the season…for the second boot in the Karina Smirnoff “KS” Collection for BEARPAW: the Capulet! Fans of Dancing With the Stars got a sneak peek at the Capulet when the Season 13 Champion wore a pair to her DWTS rehearsals with partner J.R. Martinez.

    The just-released Capulet is flying off the shelves, and the first boot in the collection, the Alyeska, continues to do so. Karina’s big win on DWTS, infectious smile, and bubbly personality are only a few reasons why her BEARPAW line is doing so well – the main reason is that the boots are well-crafted, stylish, and in totally in sync with the BEARPAW motto of living life comfortably.     In Fashion For 2012: It’s Not About Me

    As 2012 approaches, I begin a new tradition in my role as BEARPAW’s unofficial brand ambassador: the Simon Rawley-Wells New Year’s Resolution. Despite its title, please note that this tradition is not about me. In fact, that’s the entire point. My intention is to inspire people to think of others, to shift focus, not just for a season, but for the entire year.

    It isn’t easy. We wake up each morning, totally aware of our being (and, in my case, my back – after all these years on the road as a successful correspondent, the travel has taken its toll!). What if we awakened each day to a caring thought about someone else? Perhaps call a relative, or take a dear and lonely friend to breakfast? (It is worth noting that I tend to rise early but not eat before 10am, and my favorite spot is Schwartz Bakery on Fairfax in LA) Read More | Comments

    Pitch Perfect Movie Has BEARPAW Hitting All the Right Notes

    BEARPAW is hitting the big screen in Universal Pictures’ upcoming film, Pitch Perfect.  The film (directed by Jason Moore of the hit musical Avenue Q), is based on GQ magazine contributor Mickey Rapkin’s nonfiction book Pitch Perfect: The Quest for Collegiate A Cappela Glory. The comedy focuses on an all-girls college a cappella group competing against an all-boys championship team. It’s been described as “Glee goes to college,” and is sure to be a huge hit in the wake of success enjoyed by programs such as Glee and High School Musical.
