Sure, she’s often cast as the villain in movies like “The Pit & The Pendulum” and with 50 films to her credit she’s even brought her special brand of evil to the set of Rob Zombie’s “Grindhouse”. She’s also done wicked turns on TV’s “The Practice” and other series. But truth be told, actress Lorielle New is a sweetheart – and like many women she loves shoes (she has more than 150 pairs). She recently sat down with Simon Rawley-Wells at sneaker boutique Sportie LA on Melrose Avenue to talk about everything from fright films to footwear. Read More | Comments

Jamie Chung from Hangover: Part II has been known for her laid-back California style since her Real World: San Diego days. As her career as an actress continues to skyrocket, so does her reputation as an up-and-coming fashionista. Recognized for her affinity for bright colors, flirty skirts, quirky cuts, and classic glamour, Jamie always remembers to bring her BEARPAW boots for those casual moments. She recently stopped by Social Hill’s suites to check out the latest BEARPAW styles, and couldn’t resist picking up a pair of Emma Boots for herself. She chose the fantastic “Spice” color — a nostalgic cinnamon that recalls our fondness for autumn: Hot cider, pumpkin patches, and falling leaves, oh my! Jamie left the suites with her new boots on her feet, effortlessly paired with the white shorts and gray knit top she came in, and impressing everyone yet again with the down-to-earth fashion mentality that we have come to know and love.

Most people don’t have very many things in common with Snooki. Unless you’ve been on an MTV reality show or arrested on the beach for “essentially disturbing the peace” (Associated Press), you’re probably not going to be compared to the “Jersey Shore” party girl.

Sookie Stackhouse, portrayed by Anna Paquin, from HBO’s popular vampire TV show, “True Blood,” was supposed to be the comparison we made to Snooki. Why? Well, her name bears a close resemblance to Snooki’s and, at the time, we were convinced she was also a BEARPAW enthusiast. But unfortunately, Sookie — the telepathic and photokinetic human fairy hybrid — has absolutely nothing in common with Jersey Shore’s Nicole Polizzi, nicknamed “Snooki” by her middle school peers. “Survivor: Gabon” – the 17th season of the CBS hit adventure competition – had its share of thrills, but for me, nothing could be more thrilling than having a chat with Kelly Czarnecki, one of that season’s contestants. Granted, we began our conversation with Kelly calling my accent “sexy,” and any of you who know me know that I’m a sucker for flattery.

But what really charmed me was Kelly’s energy, enthusiasm, and the creative spark that courses through her veins and manifests itself at every turn. It’s fitting, then, that Kelly’s shoe of choice is BEARPAW footwear. Read on, dear friends, to discover why – and to hear our plans for world domination through fashion, innovation, and entertainment! Read More | Comments

ULTRA and Miami Winter Music Conference by Sabrina Park

The Fourth of July is upon us and it has me looking for a new kit to wear. A new bathing suit or pair of swim trunks is always nice, but it’s what you accessorize with that makes your Fourth of July outfit one that everyone remembers. Lucky for 4th of July partygoers, BEARPAW has plenty of shoes to choose from for this patriotic holiday — because let’s face it, you’ll probably be outdoor barbecueing, walking around with friends and family, soaking up the sun (and beverages) – maybe even enjoy some bar-hopping hopefully somewhere near the beach. Up Country boot collection caters to needs and styles of outdoor enthusiasts off the trail

bearpaw-boot-chloe-ii-maple Since 2001, BEARPAW shoes have redefined casual footwear by utilizing sheepskin, nature’s own technical fabric, to create comfortable and stylish shoes for adults. While there are thousands of shoes available today with specific capabilities and support for hiking, mountain climbing, running and other outdoor activities, people who like to spend as much time as possible in nature have limited choices when it comes to fashionable everyday footwear that reflects their lifestyle.

Launching at the Summer Outdoor Retailer Show, BEARPAW has designed their new Up Country Collection for fall and winter 2011 to meet the demands of women who want to spend time outdoors, but still look stylish by today’s standards. Read More | Comments

Celebrities wearing BEARPAW boots has become so common that some have taken the next step, designing their own. For Dancing with the Stars’ Karina Smirnoff, any shoe that will help soothe her tense and weary feet after a long dance-filled day, is golden. Her new Alyeska boot for BEARPAW mirrors the characteristics of leg warmers that dancers typically wear over their professional dance shoes.

Has the time come for Snooki, Jersey Shore’s poof-rocking, part-time party girl and full-time tanning connoisseur, to design a pair of her own? She’s been rocking BEARPAW for two seasons now, with the Sonjo Fur Trimmed Suede and Boetis boots currently on display in Italy. Back home, she’s known to show off her Tama boots in black and two pairs of Kola boots, in black and white. Read More | Comments

ULTRA and Miami Winter Music Conference by Sabrina Park

BEARPAW boots and shoes made their second appearance at both the Miami Winter Music Conference and Ultra Music Festival during another music-filled March this year.

I know what you’re thinking – boots on the beach? Sure, maybe the idea sounded crazy last year, but it worked then, so BEARPAW went ahead and gave it another go.

Turns out, boots on the beach will always be a hit – even in the Sunshine State’s humid and hottest-of-the-hot weather. The lining of the comfortable footwear controls the temperature of your feet to match that of the rest of your body, regardless of the conditions outside. Boom! BEARPAW knows how to keep your dancing feet happy. Read More | Comments
